Dr. M.B. Sanikop started his career as Lecturer at J.N.Medical College in September 1985. He took charge as Prof. & Head of Department of Anatomy at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in June 1996. He served in different capacities in the Anatomy with a total teaching experience of 24 yers. With a Deemed University status he was asked to take up the responsibility as Principal, since 2007 July 1st . Apart from teaching assignments he was involved in associating various activities of the college. |

- Member – Board of Studies Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences 1999-2003.
- Warden – Men’s and Ladies Hostel, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar.
